Is there anything better than an ice-cold treat on a hot day? For my kids, frozen pops are about as vital as sunscreen during the summer months.
I’ll often just freeze sugar-free sports drink to make zero-carb pops, and my son Carson loves them! Incorporating fresh fruit adds just a couple steps and a few more carbs. These pretty pops are light and refreshing, the perfect treat to cool off with. They aren’t loaded with added sugar like most store-bought frozen treats. And they’re as gorgeous as they are tasty!
- 4 tablespoons diced peaches
- 20 blueberries
- 12 kiwi slices
- 4 medium strawberries, sliced thin
- 8 ounces clear sugar-free sports drink, like Gatorade® Zero
How To Make It
- Distribute fruit evenly into ice pop molds, arranging it how you’d like it to look once frozen.
- Pour sports drink over the top, filling each mold ¾ or so full.
- Freeze for about 1 hour, then insert a craft stick ¾ of the way into the center of each mold.
- Freeze for an additional 3 to 4 hours. When ready to serve, remove pops from the molds by running each mold under warm water for a few seconds to loosen.
