Use the printable tag templates below to create this special tree that shows the dreams your children have for themselves, along with those that you, their friends and their family have for them as well. Hang the dream tags on a live tree outdoors or follow the instructions on the next page to create an indoor dream tree. When someone’s dream comes true, replace it on the tree with a new Dream Come True tag.
Read all about what happened when the Dream Tree made its debut at the Friends for Life® 2013 conference at the Walt Disney World Resort!
What You’ll Need
- PDF template
- Cardstock or heavy-duty matte paper
- Kite string
What You’ll Need
Print your dream tags on cardstock or heavy-duty matte paper and cut them out.
Next, fill out the card using the lines provided (you can write on the back if more room is needed).
Punch a hole in the center of the circle at the top of the dream tag. Cut a 12-inch piece of cotton string and send the two ends through the hole and then back through its loop to cinch it (see diagram A on the PDF).
Then use the loose ends of the string to tie a bow around a tree branch or wherever else you want to share your dream for the future (see diagram B on the PDF).
When your dream comes true, replace your tag with the Dream Come True tag.
