Ingredients

  • 1 pound pasteurized crabmeat
  • 1 large mango, peeled and diced
  • 1 medium avocado, peeled, pitted and diced
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 small shallot, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Fresh ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 12 large leaves fresh basil, thinly sliced

How To Make It

  1. Pick over the crabmeat carefully to remove any bits of shell.
  2. Fold together the crabmeat, mango, avocado, lime juice, shallot, salt, pepper, olive oil and basil.
  3. Chill, then serve.
